Richmond Golf Club, a Northern Gem

9th Green at Richmond

9th Green at Richmond

Just back from a little break up in the lovely Yorkshire Dales National Park in northern England. Fantastic park of the world if you interested in fresh air and friendly people.

On a golfing note I thought that I would just mention a little gem of a course that I discovered while I was up there. I didn’t have much time to make a decision so I opted to go for the closest course available which turned out to be Richmond Golf Course (http://www.richmondyorksgolfclub.co.uk/)

Now sometimes when you don’t do your homework you can end up being overcharged and disappointed but this certainly wasn’t the case with Richmond.

It’s a short mature parkland, beautifully maintained and presented with a great variety of holes that test every aspect of your game. The greens were in great condition which made for good scoring. And one of the warmest welcomes I have enjoyed at a golf course for quite some time to boot!

So if you are in that part of the work I would highly recommend popping in for a round at £25 for weekday green fees its a bargain.

Happy Golfing,

Paul
